Running through the heart of Wyoming,

US-287 (The Washakie Highway) may

be the most historic drive in the western

United States. It passes the sites of the Immigrant Trail, the Pony Express, and mountain men Rendezvous', just to name a few. With this audio tour, you also learn about the Wind River Range, Red Desert, and the Absaroka Range, as well as the wildlife and people who have lived along it for thousands of years.

Narrated by noted Author Sam Lightner, Jr., this audio tour plays automatically as you drive near the various sites.
